Nalanda Trophy – 3rd Edition: Celebrating Four Days of Sporting Excellence
The 3rd Edition of the Nalanda Trophy was successfully conducted over four exciting days, from 14th to 17th August, bringing together young athletes from schools to celebrate sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit.
The tournament began on Day 1 with skating, witnessing the enthusiastic participation of 250 students from 24 schools.
Days 2, 3, and 4 featured a diverse range of sporting disciplines, including basketball, volleyball, pickleball, handball, swimming, and judo. The multi-sport event provided students with a wonderful platform to showcase their skills and compete with peers across various schools.
This year, the Nalanda Trophy witnessed an impressive participation of 1,500 students representing 80 schools, making it a memorable celebration of school-level sports and athletic excellence.
A special highlight of the event was the presence of Mr. Muin Bek Hafeez, Indian Basketball Captain, as the Chief Guest. His presence and interaction with the young athletes added inspiration and significance to the occasion.
The 3rd Edition of the Nalanda Trophy concluded on a high note, celebrating not only sporting achievements but also the values of teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and fair play.
